During the third quarter of 2024, the performance of the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on iOS in Ireland revealed diverse trends in downloads and active user engagement, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads beginning at approximately 6.7K in early July and gradually declining to around 3.5K by the end of September. The app's active users fluctuated, starting at 217K and ending slightly lower at 206K, despite a mid-quarter peak of about 219K.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a decrease in weekly downloads from around 3.7K to 1.9K over the quarter. Active users followed a similar downward trajectory, starting at 9.5K and closing the quarter at 7.8K.

Lyft saw weekly downloads decrease steadily from approximately 972 to 364 during the quarter. However, active users showed resilience, beginning at 5.5K, with fluctuations throughout, ending at 5.2K.
